“Hide in the Rye” is a work that turns to rye as a symbol of abundance, hope, and fundamental human security. In traditional understanding, to hide in the rye means to find protection — to return to a space where life continues and is preserved.

The rhythmic field of stalks forms a visual space of shelter — an almost abstract landscape in which repetition becomes a sign of stability. Within this multiplicity, a single golden ear emerges — a concentrated image of value that calls for preservation.

In the lower corner appears a red guardian spirit — a symbolic keeper of the field, embodying an invisible force that protects well-being. The work speaks of the land not as a territory, but as a state of safety, where a future becomes possible.

“Hide in the Rye” is a gesture of returning to a primordial sense of security that allows one to endure the challenges of time.
