“Out of Time” is a work in which personal and collective memory converge within a symbolic visual field. The golden sign in the upper part of the composition appears as a talisman — a symbol of protection and spiritual resilience.

The red plane evokes the heart, blood, passion, or pain — a concentrated energy of life that holds memory within it. Inside it, golden ears of grain emerge — a sign of fertility, well-being, and the continuity of existence. In Ukrainian culture, grain is not only an agrarian symbol, but also an embodiment of the land as a source of life.

In this work, rye appears as a sacred value that calls for preservation. The painting speaks of the land not as a territory, but as a bearer of memory, identity, and future — something that exists beyond time and requires protection.
